TERMS OF SERVICE

Terms of service updated January 2025

GENERAL

• You will pay the full price beforehand
• I only accept PAYPAL
• You do not pay any additional fees (eg. paypal fee). Those are my responsibility
• I have the right to reject your commission request without any reason or explanation

REVISIONS

You get two (2) MINOR free revisions: once during the sketching stage and once during the basecolor stage. Minor revisions (e.g. in the sketching phase) can include: changing the expression, changing the outfit, changing the pose slightly, etc. I will only do a maximum of 5 minor revisions per revision.If you want to add something outside of revision times OR make a major adjustment, I charge a 15-50€ fee depending on complexity and time. I might also refuse to make the adjustment if it's too large and complex.

DETAILS

All commissions come fully rendered. The shape of the commission (A4, square...) depends on the pose. The client receives two versions, one at 350dpi PNG and 150dpi PNG (you can also request other filetypes, such as TIFF if you want to get the commission printed). The background will be simple and scenic.

DO NOT claim, edit, reproduce my artworks/or use them for commercial products (monetized videos, merchandise, prints, books, etc.) If it will be used for profit you may purchase the license from me.I (the artist) have the right to use the finished commissions as part of my portfolio/artbook. Commissioner still owns the copyright to their own characters and will be mentioned as the owner of said characters. The artwork itself will never be sold as prints.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

You can't ask for a refund once the invoice is paid and I’ve started your piece. I will only refund you if I can’t finish your commission in which case I will contact you. If the client stops answering my emails after the commission is paid I'm not responsible for refunding the rest of the commission.

CONCERNING TIPS

In Finland it is not customary to tip, so I do NOT expect any of my clients to tip. However I do not object to them and do accept them through Paypal.

DO NOT reproduce/edit/use my artwork (commissioned or otherwise) for NFTs or AI.I do not and will not use AI in my art in any shape or form.

COMMISSIONING ME MEANS YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS OF SERVICE MENTIONED. IF YOU, THE CLIENT, DID NOT READ TERMS OF SERVICES, I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN MISCONCEPTION.

HOW DOES THE WAITING LIST WORK?

I WON'T REPLY TO YOUR COMMISSION WAITING LIST FORM,
but I do see it (if you are unsure, you can always check my commission tracker at Trello)! I will email you when I'm finished with the previous commission queue and refer to you to the commission form! This (usually) happens in the middle of the month you have picked!
KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR THE EMAIL
they sometimes get marked as spam (rip).
Please fill in the commission form within a week otherwise your slot will be automatically given away.


Reserving a slot does not mean you are OBLIGATED to place a commission, but if you reserve a spot and don't have a decent reason for backing out you will not be able to use the waiting list in the future.

HOW TO COMMISSION?

1. Read and understand the terms & conditions above

2. Fill in the waiting list from

3. I will contact you in middle of your stated month in your contact email and ask you to fill in a commission form.

4. Fill in the form and I will contact you the following week with 3D-model (or reference pictures) and we can figure out the nitty-gritty from there. I will answer any questions and ask you to confirm the price after we have settled on a pose. After I've got the confirmation, I will send you an invoice in your PayPal.

5. Pay the invoice within 10 days. If you can’t, please specify why and when you can.

6. I will start working on your piece when I have received the money! I will send you the sketch usually within 14 days and you can voice your opinions at this stage (first revision). The next revision will be the basecolor phase, when you can tweak the colors.

7. It will take me ~4 weeks to get your piece done. If it takes me longer, I will ALWAYS inform you. I will tell you beforehand how long it approximately will take.


8. I'll send the finished artwork via email.You can upload the work to your social media but remember to tag me :)!
